Bar Journal

I completely designed a full bar journal for McWethy’s Sports Bar from the ground up, creating a piece that is both functional and visually engaging. The journal serves as more than just a menu—it highlights the full scope of our offerings across both the Sports Bar and the Mistwood Golf Dome. I incorporated unique layouts and themed design elements to promote trivia nights, special events, simulator suites, Toptracer games, dome life, desserts, catering options, beer flights, and more. By blending creativity with clarity, I crafted a polished, on-brand resource that elevates the guest experience while driving interest across all aspects of the venue.

Themed Trivia Night Menus

I craft tailored trivia night menus for McWethy’s Sports Bar, each designed to align with the theme of the evening. These menus highlight food and drink offerings inspired by the trivia topic and feature dynamic graphics and imagery of characters from the shows, movies, or themes being quizzed. The result is a fun, immersive design that enhances the atmosphere and brings the trivia experience to life.

For our Game of Thrones Trivia Night, I designed a menu as a detailed map of Westeros, placing each character in their home region alongside the dish inspired by them. This immersive design tied the food directly to the story’s iconic locations and personalities, creating a menu that felt like part of the Seven Kingdoms themselves.

For our Home Alone Trivia Night, I replicated Kevin McCallister’s famous crayon-drawn battle plan by creating a playful menu that mapped out our sports bar layout. Tables were sketched with food items and ingredients in crayon, drinks were drawn along the bar, and even the drink station was included, bringing the film’s iconic style to life in a fun, immersive design.

Event Posters

I design visually aesthetic 12x18 posters that are displayed throughout McWethy’s Sports Bar and the Mistwood Golf Dome to promote our themed trivia nights and special events. Each poster incorporates theme-driven taglines and bold visuals crafted to draw in potential participants, whether it’s for a movie- or show-inspired trivia night or a general knowledge challenge. Beyond trivia, I also create captivating posters for a wide range of events, including golf club fittings, lessons, catering, and more, ensuring every piece is eye-catching, on-brand, and effective in driving engagement.

Main Menu

I engineered the current version of our McWethy’s Sports Bar menu to put the spotlight where it belongs: on fan favorites, our award-winning wings and sauces, and the dishes guests can’t stop talking about. The layout makes it easy to follow along, balancing bold visuals with clear organization so guests can quickly find exactly what they’re craving. I also stay on top of regular updates, keeping the menu fresh with new offerings and seasonal changes while making sure it always feels engaging, on-brand, and built for the ultimate sports bar experience.

Holiday Menus

I design special event menus that bring the excitement of each holiday to life, making it easy for guests to dive into our limited-time offerings. From Super Bowl catering packages and Valentine’s Day features to St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, holiday cocktails, and more, each menu is crafted to highlight the flavors and experiences unique to the occasion. With bold visuals, festive themes, and a layout that’s simple to navigate, these menus not only showcase our seasonal food and drink specials but also create a sense of celebration that keeps guests coming back for every holiday.

Sauce Madness Bracket

Every March, in honor of March Madness, we host our annual Sauce Madness Tournament, where 16 of Chef’s signature sauces go head-to-head as guests vote daily during the NCAA games to crown the ultimate winner. To bring the competition to life, I design a custom tournament bracket and print it in a large format that hangs prominently in the sports bar, allowing guests to follow along, cheer for their favorites, and get fully immersed in the fun. The winning sauce earns a permanent spot on our menu, making the event both interactive and rewarding for our guests.

I design custom to-go material that turns the end of every meal into a chance to get guests excited about what’s coming up next from themed trivia nights and Sauce Madness to catering, social events, and our monthly golf tournaments in the dome. Each design is bold, on-brand, and easy to read, making sure guests leave with more than just a great meal; they leave with a reason to come back.
